So you've enjoyed indoor karting and want to go a bit faster? Make that A LOT faster - check out Jimmy's video on our Showcase! Our 125cc Rotax Max karts are proper race machines, unlike the usual "hire karts" at regular kart centres. Step Up to 2-Stroke Days are designed for people with plenty of hire karting experience, either indoors or outdoors. They are not suitable for people who have never driven a kart before. Check out our Attaq Academy, too!

If you want to share the cost we can accomodate up to 2 similar-sized drivers per kart.

We have Cadet, Mini, Junior and Senior karts for drivers from 8 years upwards, while for the youngest racers we have Bambino Starter Days for 6-8 year olds - call us on 07775 834341 to discuss. Minimum/maximum sizes may apply on all karts - see our Terms and Conditions.

• Welcome and seat fitting 
• Track walk with your instructor (if available, depends on track)

This is a full day out for any karter wanting to try 2-stroke driving after rental racing, or an intensive 1-2-1 taining session for drivers graduating from the Attaq Academy. It's fast, exhilarating and great fun - and you learn so much about yourself. Professional instructors are on hand throughout to make sure you get the most of the day, but once the visor snaps down you're on your own - just you against the track! 

Karts 

125cc Rotax 2-stroke engines in Cadet (Micromax), Intermediate (Minimax), Junior Max, or Senior Max specification. These are regular race karts, not de-tuned "school" karts. Cornering speeds are high and driving is exhilarating like you've never felt before - and hard work! 

Qualifications 

Drivers should have experience of indoor or outdoor 4-stroke racing and we expect most to have their own race clothing. You will be on track with other drivers of varying abilities from novice to regular racer, so you will be expected to be able to lap safely in relation to other drivers. Our aim is to help you to lap at an ARKS-test pace. If you have no experience of this kind of karting please do check out the Attaq Academy.  

What you need 

We expect every driver to have a helmet which should be full face with visor. Sorry no open face helmets are allowed, and no Moto-X style with goggles. There is no specific he;met standard required for test days, although if you plan to go on to racing a kart-specific one would make sense. We may be able to supply overalls and gloves, please ask. YOU WILL NEED A RIB PROTECTOR, preferably the solid type. Expensive, but cheaper than days off work with sore ribs! We have a small selection of rib protectors to hire.
